Q: Are all of your products refurbished?
A: Yes, unless otherwise noted in the product description, all products available for sale on the TechTurn website are refurbished. Products refurbished by TechTurn are processed by our highly trained technicians in our state-of-the-art facilities in Austin, Texas and Richmond, Virginia. Our products are refurbished to the highest quality standards and are backed by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.


Q: What is included with each product?
A:

  • Notebook computers include AC adapter, and operating system recovery disk. Newer notebook models have begun to load the recovery software on a separate partition on the hard drive.
  • Desktop computers include the keyboard, mouse, power cable operating system recovery disk.
  • Monitors include video cables and power cord.
  • Parts include any accessories specified in the product description.


Q: Can I modify the configuration listed for sale on your store?
A: A wide range of memory, hard drives, and other parts are available on the TechTurn online store for
separate purchase. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, TechTurn does not custom configure units to-order.

A: Yes. All orders and transactions involving release of personal information is encrypted using the latest

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: The TechTurn Online Store accepts American Express, Mastercard, Discover, Visa and Paypal.

Q: Will you ship internationally?
A: TechTurn ships retail orders only to United States (including Hawaii and Alaska). No international shipments are allowed.
Note also that TechTurn does NOT ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, Freight Forwarders, or Hotels.

Q: After I have placed my order, how can I check the status of it?
A: Each submitted order will receive an email confirming the order. To check the status of an order a user can also login and click the My Account menu button in the top right of the screen.

Shipping

Q: What shipping options are available?
A: TechTurn ships all retail orders via FedEx. Shipping rates are based on the weights and dimensions of the retail item. Shipping rates are calculated during checkout.

Q: When will I receive my shipment?
A: Your order is thoroughly reviewed by our Order Processing Department to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed this review, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment. We typically ship all orders within 1 business day after credit card approval. Total time for delivery is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 business days.

Q: Do I have to sign for my package?
A: Yes. For security reasons, all shipments require a signature at the receiving location.

Q: My product is defective and needs to be returned. What do I do?
A:
Only defective product returns will be accepted after 90 days for repair or replacement only. To return a product you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. TechTurn will not accept returns without prior authorization. To obtain a RMA number please send a request to TechSupport@TechTurn.com including order number of the product , the product title and a description of the problem.

Q: My product is defective and needs to be replaced. What do I do?
A:
See above question regarding return protocols. All warranty exchange replacements are subject to product availability. If an exact replacement is not available TechTurn will substitute the product(s) with a similar, suitable, or upgraded product(s) of equal or greater value within 7 business days. If none of these options are available TechTurn will credit the customer’s account.
